This 82-minute documentary, produced by Australian park ranger Sean Willmore, was released worldwide July 31, 2007, on International Ranger Day. It focuses on the role of rangers around the world and some of the dangers they face in the name of conservation. More than 15,000 people watched the film on this night, and all profits from the purchase and screenings of the film are being donated to ranger families who have lost their loved ones.

Willmore sold his car, remortgaged his house and traveled the world for 14 months in 2004-05 to bring you the stories of the sometimes life-threatening challenges his colleagues face every day. You will go off the tourist trail and beyond the postcards to ride with the guardians of the world's protected natural wonders as they encounter elephant charges in South Africa, undertake armed patrols to defend the mountain gorillas of central Africa, and hang from a helicopter above the Rockies to pluck an injured hiker to safety.

The Thin Green Line Foundation was established to support the families of rangers who have been killed in the line of duty, and also to support worthwhile conservation projects that assist to keep rangers safe in their jobs. One hundred percent of all profits from this documentary will aid the families of rangers killed in the line of duty and other ranger/conservation programs. Thank you for your support.

The DVD is $25 a copy plus $2 for shipping and handling for a total of $27 a copy. It can be shipped to addresses in the United States only.
